Mark Wahlberg pour Max Payne
14/11/2008 : C?est par une journée froide et grise que je me dirige vers l?hôtel George V, non loin des Champs Elysées. Une météo maussade qui me remet dans l?ambiance du film Max Payne, et ça tombe plutôt bien puisque c?est Mark Wahlberg que je vais rencontrer, lors d?une conférence de presse assez intimiste. Bon, le comédien a un peu une réputation de bad boy et de dur à cuire. Ce n?est pas son dernier rôle qui changera cette image. Et dire qu?il a commencé comme chanteur dans un boys band (New Kids On the Block) et qu?il a été mannequin pour Calvin Klein. Mais ne faisons pas trop les malins, Mark Wahlberg a quand même travaillé avec les plus grands et dans des films vraiment bons. Pêle-mêle : Boogie Nights de Paul Thomas Anderson, Les Infiltrés de Martin Scorsese ou encore The Yards et La Nuit Nous Appartient de James Gray. Il a également joué dans le film de David O Russel que j?adore, J'adore Huckabees (je vous le conseille vivement, il y a aussi Jude Law, Naomi Watts et Adam Goldberg au casting). Et dois-je préciser qu?il vient de boucler le tournage de The Lovely Bones, le dernier film de Peter Jackson, dans lequel il joue un père dont la fille assassinée observe la vie du paradis. Revenons donc à la conférence de presse, où j?arrive en bon deuxième pour m?installer au premier rang. Le temps de brancher la caméra sur l?installation sonore de la salle, et je suis fin prêt. On annonce son arrivée, décontracté, Mark Wahlberg franchit la porte. Classe, cintré dans un costume noir et chemise blanche, cravate rayée, il en impose. Ce qui frappe tout de suite, c?est qu?il est au naturel. Pas de fausseté dans son discours, dans ses gestes, pas de superficialité promotionnelle. Il répond aux questions sans langues de bois, souriant et très sympathique. Bref, à l?opposé de son image de mauvais garçon. La suite à découvrir en images ! Serene sunset. Soft sunset. Gliding over plaintive pliant pavement. Pavement that yields specters of Fractured farcical fanciful faces. Disjointed figures of every kind. Smiling now I silently greet them all. Taking modest calculated steps. There. Gentile, civil undulating blades. Greening hues from pale lights to daring darks. Proud blades--miniature spires-- Blushing blades. Ossillating in the casual cavalier caresses of a wooing warm wild wonderful wiley wind. Short cropped green-yellow blades. Yearning. Yearning, to gratefully grow to great gargantuan Glorious heights. Now. The tooing and froing. Now. The the crissing and crossing. Gruff. Grubby. Growling cars. Unforgiving savagery.
