http://www.dj-project.ro/ DJ Project - Hotel (Premiera Clip Lansat 24.December.2008.) Biography: In October 2000, two DJs from Timisoara, DJ Gino Manzotti (Handke Guiseppe) and DJ Maxx (Floarea Ovidiu Nicolae) decided to found a musical project named, accordingly, DJ Project. The following year they release their first album, "Experience", at Media Services Sony Music. In 2002 another one of their albums - "Spune-mi tot ce vrei" - is produced by Media Services again. Since autumn 2003 Dj Gino Manzotti and Dj Maxx also included in their project Elena (Elena Batlagan), and released "Lumea ta", their third album as a group and the first in the new formula. In 2004 DJ PROJECT was the Romanian group to feature in the Romanian Top 100 for the longest period of time - 40 weeks - with their single "Lumea ta". The next release, "Printre vise", was another musical success of the year, played intensely by the Romanian radio stations. In 2005 the single "Lumea ta" begun its European career, being promoted by Ministry of Sound - the most important record company in Europe, focusing mainly on euro-dance. At radio stations in many European countries Europe played the Romanian as well as the English version of the song, along with numerous remixes. In Europe, DJ Project was promoted using the name "Elena". Also in 2005, DJ Project return to Media Services with a new album, named "Soapte". It had the advantage of a triple release: the first in Timisoara, in club Heaven, the second at MTV Live, in a concert held in the Constitution Square, in Bucharest, and the third in club Bamboo, also in Bucharest. That was the last performance of a Romanian group in club Bamboo, before the fire that burned down the old construction. The first release from the album was "Privirea ta", a super-hit that not only dominated all Romanian charts and radio station play lists, but also became a symbol for thousands of love stories in which lovers declared each other: "Nu pot uita/privirea ta" ....

A captivating film, Mission Accomplished: The Story of the Flying Fortresses is a superb WWII motion picture. This film documents the autumn 1942 bombing mission of the 8th Army Air Force over occupied Europe. The star of the film is the B-17 Bomber, the vaunted Flying Fortress, that soared through the enemy infested skies of World War II. Most interestingly is shown how the preparation of the planes and the pilots, from maintenance to briefings, was accomplished. Stunning aerial footage of the mission, as well as what happens to the Flying Fortresses when they return to base, consummates this awesome film. Thanks to high production values, top notch information on the B-17, and thrilling war scenes, Mission Accomplished: The Story of the Flying Fortress is a powerfully enriching experience.

John Keats 'Ode on a Grecian Urn' Poem Animation Movie

    02:52 images - photos : 11/08/2008 :
Heres a virtual movie of John Keats reading most probably his best loved poem 'Ode on a Grecian Urn' Written in 1819, 'Ode on a Grecian Urn' was the third of the five 'great odes' of 1819, which are generally believed to have been written in the following order - Psyche, Nightingale, Grecian Urn, Melancholy, and Autumn. Of the five, Grecian Urn and Melancholy are merely dated '1819'. Critics have used vague references in Keats's letters as well as thematic progression to assign order. ('Ode on Indolence', though written in March 1819, perhaps before Grecian Urn, is not considered one of the 'great odes'.) This ode contains the most discussed two lines in all of Keats's poetry - '"Beauty is truth, truth beauty," - that is all/Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.' The exact meaning of those lines is disputed by everyone; no less a critic than TS Eliot considered them a blight upon an otherwise beautiful poem. Kind Regards Jim Clark All rights are reserved on this video recording copyright Jim Clark 2008 'Ode on a Grecian Urn'........last stanza Who are these coming to the sacrifice? To what green altar, O mysterious priest, Lead'st thou that heifer lowing at the skies, And all her silken flanks with garlands drest? What little town by river or sea shore, Or mountain-built with peaceful citadel, Is emptied of this folk, this pious morn? And, little town, thy streets for evermore Will silent be; and not a soul to tell Why thou art desolate, can e'er return. O Attic shape! Fair attitude! with brede Of marble men and maidens overwrought, With forest branches and the trodden weed; Thou, silent form, dost tease us out of thought As doth eternity: Cold Pastoral! When old age shall this generation waste, Thou shalt remain, in midst of other woe Than ours, a friend to man, to whom thou say'st, "Beauty is truth, truth beauty," - that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.

    John Atkinson Grimshaw

    02:42 images - photos : 28/07/2008 :
John Atkinson Grimshaw (1836 ? 1893) was a Victorian-era painter. Atkinson Grimshaw was born in Leeds, England his father was a policeman, and he started work as a railway clerk. His parents were opposed to his taking up art as a career. Grimshaw was influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, & in his youth produced vivid, highly finished landscapes. Gradually, Grimshaw developed his own highly distinctive style, & subject matter. He became a consummate painter of twilight, night time, & autumnal scenes. Grimshaw spent holidays at Scarborough, & many of his pictures were set there, & in Whitby. He also painted nocturnal harbour & dockside pictures. He spent some time in London. Grimshaw was, though, a Northerner, & Leeds remained his base, & his commercial success allowed him to buy Knostrop Hall on the outskirts of the city. For a short time in the mid 1880s, he did have a London Studio. It is rumoured that he was a friend of Whistler. Grimshaw?s output was much more varied than just this however. He painted portraits, interiors, fairy pictures, & most accomplished fancy pictures, of attractive gorgeously dressed young women in opulent interiors. In the early 1890s Grimshaw?s style seemed to be developing in new directions, three pictures showing this are Sand, Sea, Summer, & Fantasy of 1892, & At Anchor 1893. He seemed to be moving towards a freer, less formal style of painting, perhaps influenced to a degree by Whistler. Unhappily this change of direction was not to, be as Grimshaw died of cancer in 1893. Music by Shigeru Umebayashi, "Polonaise" More information http://www.allpaintings.org/v/Aestheticism/John+Atkinson+Grimshaw/

Charles Baudelaire "L'Ennemi" Poem Animation Movie

    01:27 images - photos : 31/05/2008 :
Heres a virtual movie of the legendary French poet Charles Baudelaire (1821 - 1867) reading his poem "L'Ennemi" (The Enemy). The superb reading is by Pierre Viala Charles Baudelaire was a 19th century French poet, translator, and literary and art critic whose reputation rests primarily on Les Fleurs du mal; (1857;The Flowers of Evil) which was perhaps the most important and influential poetry collection published in Europe in the 19th century. Similarly, his Petits poèmes en prose (1868; "Little Prose Poems") was the most successful and innovative early experiment in prose poetry of the time. Known for his highly contraversial, and often dark poetry, as well as his translation of the tales of Edgar Allan Poe, Baudelaire's life was filled with drama and strife, from financial disaster to being prosecuted for obscenity and blasphemy. Long after his death many look upon his name as representing depravity and vice: Others see him as being the poet of modern civilization, seeming to speak directly to the 20th century. Kind Regards Jim Clark All rights are reserved on this video recording copyright Jim Clark 2008 The Enemy My youth was but a tempest, dark and savage, Through which, at times, a dazzling sun would shoot The thunder and the rain have made such ravage My garden is nigh bare of rosy fruit. Now I have reached the Autumn of my thought, And spade and rake must toil the land to save, That fragments of my flooded fields be sought From where the water sluices out a grave. Who knows if the new flowers my dreams prefigure, In this washed soil should find, as by a sluit, The mystic nourishment to give them vigour? Time swallows up our life, O ruthless rigour! And the dark foe that nibbles our heart's root, Grows on our blood the stronger and the bigger

The fire is burning The room´s all aglow Outside the December wind blows Away in the distance the carolers sing in the snow Everybody´s laughing The world is celebrating And everyone´s so happy Except for me tonight Because I miss you Most at Christmas time And I can´t get you Get you off my mind Every other season comes along And I´m all right But then I miss you, most at Christmas time I gaze out the window This cold winter´s night At all of the twinkling lights Alone in the darkness Remembering when you were mine Everybody´s smiling The whole world is rejoicing And everyone´s embracing Except for you and I Baby I miss you Most at Christmas time And I can´t get you Get you off my mind Every other season comes along And I´m all right But then I miss you, most at Christmas time In the springtime those memories start to fade With the April rain Through the summer days Till autumn´s leaves are gone I get by without you Till the snow begins to fall And then I miss you Most at Christmas time And I can´t get you Get you off my mind Every other season comes along And I´m all right... But then I miss you, most at Christmas time
