iPhone is Not Female Friendly Women Complain
12/11/2008 : The iPhone is far and away the hottest gadget on the market. Apple has sold over 6 million of them since the iPhone launched last year. And with the release of the cheaper and faster iPhone 3G, the company is sure to hit, and surpass, their goal of 10 million sold by the end of the year. But not everyone is happy with the iPhone's advanced touch screen technology... women with long fingernails are having lots of trouble getting the popular device to work for them. The iPhone's touchscreen is designed to respond to the electrical charge emitted by a person's fingertips, and since fingernails do not emit a charge, it becomes difficult for women with long nails to operate the touchscreen. 10.4 million women now use SmartPhones, a number that has more than doubled since last year, making females the fastest growing segment of users of these devices by far. So what can Apple do about their “fingernail problem?” Some consumers have demanded a stylus attachment for the iPhone, but others argue that an easy to lose stylus would negate the very point of Apple's innovative touchscreen design. If you do really want a stylus, you can buy aftermarket models designed to work with the iPhone for around 20 to 25 dollars. But a better suggestion is to try to use the side of your finger or thumbs to type and swipe the iPhones touchscreen. And if that doesn't work, maybe it's time to think about a more female friendly blackberry... or a new manicure, ladies. I'm Marc Gittleman for TekieTV.Com. Some New Apps for My Old iPhone
29/07/2008 : I didn't get the new iPhone yet, but I'm just as happy with my old one. I have one of the first 4 gig iPhones that came out last year. I'm going to hold on to this puppy! Fix "Soft" Keys on your Apple Aluminium Keyboard
21/07/2008 : Are you a 99.9% happy Apple Keyboard user? Chances are, the thing lost that .1% because sometimes keys don't respond. I've found an easy fix for it, all you need is a guitar pick or other instrument, a bit of paper and some tape! Distributed by Tubemogul.

Horses running & fighting
27/04/2008 : Our Paint/Walking horse stud enjoying his new paddock for the first time. Our mare, Sweet Tart, isn't happy about this. She makes her unhappiness obvious here . . . **NOTE** You can hear me and my Dad talking about the horses touching the hotwire here. We had just put up this wire and wanted to make sure it was fully functioning before leaving the animals unattended. We would never encourage them to touch it or deliberately make them do so. In the end, we had to put Sweet Tart in her corral, as she wouldn't stop trying to pick a fight. Maybe being nearly 12 months pregnant does that to a horse . . .
