Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash - One too Many Mornings

03:10 images - photos : 18/11/2008 :
Down the street the dogs are barkin' And the day is a-gettin' dark As the night comes in a-fallin' The dogs'll lose their bark An' the silent night will shatter From the sounds inside my minds For I'm one too many mornings And a thousand miles behind. From the crossroads of my doorstep My eyes start to fade As I turn my head back to the room Where my love and I have laid An' I gaze back to the street The sidewalk and the sign And I'm one too many mornings An' a thousand miles behind. It's a restless hungry feeling That don't mean no one no good When ev'rything I'm a-sayin' You can say it just as good You're right from your side I'm right from mine We're both just too many mornings An' a thousand miles behind.

Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota) is an American singer-songwriter, author, poet, and painter, who has been a major figure in popular music for five decades. Much of Dylan's most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when he became an informal chronicler and a reluctant figurehead of American unrest. A number of his songs, such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'",became anthems of the civil rights movements. His most recent studio album, Modern Times, released on August 29, 2006, entered the U.S. album chart at number one, and that same year was named Album of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine. Eric Clapton & Bob Dylan - Crossroads (Live)

I went down to the crossroads, fell down on my knees. I went down to the crossroads, fell down on my knees. Asked the lord above for mercy, save me if you please. I went down to the crossroads, tried to flag a ride. I went down to the crossroads, tried to flag a ride. Nobody seemed to know me, everybody passed me by. Im going down to rosedale, take my rider by my side. Im going down to rosedale, take my rider by my side. You can still barrelhouse, baby, on the riverside. You can run, you can run, tell my friend-boy willie brown. You can run, you can run, tell my friend-boy willie brown. And Im standing at the crossroads, believe Im sinking down.

Bob Dylan Just Like a Woman ( VOST )

Cliquez sur français pour voir le vidéo sous titré en français. Just Like A Woman Nobody feels any pain Tonight as I stand inside the rain Ev'rybody knows That Baby's got new clothes But lately I see her ribbons and her bows Have fallen from her curls. She takes just like a woman, yes, she does She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does And she aches just like a woman But she breaks just like a little girl. Queen Mary, she's my friend Yes, I believe I'll go see her again Nobody has to guess That Baby can't be blessed Till she sees finally that she's like all the rest With her fog, her amphetamine and her pearls. She takes just like a woman, yes, she does She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does And she aches just like a woman But she breaks just like a little girl. It was raining from the first And I was dying there of thirst So I came in here And your long-time curse hurts But what's worse Is this pain in here I can't stay in here Ain't it clear that. I just can't fit Yes, I believe it's time for us to quit When we meet again Introduced as friends Please don't let on that you knew me when I was hungry and it was your world. Ah, you fake just like a woman, yes, you do You make love just like a woman, yes, you do Then you ache just like a woman But you break just like a little girl. - Bob Dylan - Chanson extraite de l'album Blonde on Blonde.

The incomparable RANDY CRAWFORD and the legendary JOE SAMPLE return to the UK this month. November 28th Birmingham Symphony Hall 30th Manchester Palace Theatre December 3rd Brighton Dome 4th Hammersmith Apollo Full concert details: www.marshall-arts.com The Randy and Joe concerts are not to be missed; Randy performs with a rare passion and treats each song with a precious intensity, as if it's the first time she's had the opportunity to share that song with her audience. From her worldwide hits such as Street Life (with the Crusaders) and One Day I'll Fly Away to classic versions of songs such as Bob Dylan's Knockin' On Heaven's Door and John Lennon's Imagine, the unique combination of Randy Crawford's extraordinary vocals and Joe Sample's flowing, jazzy, interpretative arrangements make for the perfect night out. Randy and Joe's excellent new album, No Regrets, is a collection of twelve great songs that showcase these cherished performers in their greatest light, performing classic songs in a smoky atmosphere of silky, soulful, jazz arrangements. Tracks include the classic Respect Yourself, a massive hit for the Staple Singers in the 1970s and cannily relevant today; Me Myself And I which was a huge hit for Billie Holiday in 1937; Everyday I Have The Blues a classic tune made famous by Joe Williams with the Count Basie Orchestra; Angel of the Morning, a huge hit for the great PP Arnold more than 40 years ago and more. Randy Crawford has possessed a rare vocal beauty since she was very small and started singing in the local church choir. Hers is a unique voice, one that defies categorisation and one that continues to thrill. Onstage she is a magical performer imbuing every song with emotional involvement, smouldering passion, a tremulous high or surprising low; her inter-song patter reveals the warmest personality and a sharp sense of humour; her anecdotes are as fruity as her fabulous voice! Randy Crawford and Joe Sample have known each other for most of their lives; Joe was born in Houston, Texas, ...
