Raphael concert
30/12/2008 : Raphael played a concert in Lyon a few weeks ago. Since Lyon is only about an hour drive away, we bought tickets and headed out for a night of music. We bought the cheap tickets so we didnt get a good view but we could hear the music just fine. I took some video of the concert on my camera and compiled it in a video as an introduction to the artist, Raphael. So if you want to expand your musical horizons and hear one of the most popular pop/rock musicians in France, have a listen. He's not for everyone but no artist is.
Crystal Castles - Airwar (Streetlab vs Eamon Harkin mix)
05/12/2008 : Bio: Streetlab is an electronic-rock music duo from NYC formed in 2001 by 'Coz' and Ryan. Taking the role as in-studio producers and songwriters, the two ... (more) began by remixing classic rock songs with the dance-floor in mind. Being raised on the music scenes of the early 90's, the two attempt to erase boundaries - making music that appeals to both the rock and electronic world. After receiving much support from BBC Radio 1, Streetlab inspired indie-rock label Kanine Records, where they contributed remixes to their catalog for Mixel Pixel and Professor Murder. Astralwerks and Invisible Records were up next, receiving remixes for artists Prophet Omega and Rx. The two also landed a mix on 'The Limitless Potential', a compilation of Nine Inch Nails remixes from the album Year Zero. More recently, Streetlab teamed up with NYC DJ Eamon Harkin, and NYC club promoter GBH for mixes of Crystal Castles and Black DanieL. From there, they connected with Parisian acts PlayGround and Thieves Like Us for remix treatments. By early 2008 the two began sneaking original material up onto the Web. Internet buzz and more radio support from Sirius' Liquid Todd followed with remixes for SubPop's Kinski and IHeartComix's Heartsrevolution. Streetlab continue their focus into '09. Gearing up for the release of their first self-titled EP on October 7th, 2008, as well as many live dates into 2009....Stay tuned.

Hot Chocolate ~ Every 1's A Winner (HQ) (Stereo)
09/11/2008 : Hot Chocolate was a British pop band of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s formed by Errol Brown (a Briton who was born in Jamaica). They were originally named 'The Hot Chocolate Band' by Mavis Smith, who worked for the Apple Corps press office. This was quickly shortened to just Hot Chocolate. It was in the disco era of the mid-1970s onwards, that Hot Chocolate became a big success. A combination of high production standards, the growing confidence of the main songwriting team of Wilson and Brown, and tight harmonies enabled them to secure further big hits like "You Sexy Thing" and "Every 1's A Winner", which were major U.S. hits, peaking at #3 and #6, respectively. After Wilson's departure for a solo career that included a well received album in 1976 'I Like Your Style', Brown assumed songwriting duties. The band became the only group, and one of just three UK chart acts, that scored a hit in every year of the 1970s. Considering the other two acts to do so were Elvis Presley and Diana Ross, that achievement put Hot Chocolate in very elevated company. The success did not stop there and they eventually had at least one hit, every single year, between 1970 and 1984. Critically they were often lambasted or simply ignored, and apart from compilations their albums such as Cicero Park sold modestly. But their string of successes points to the indisputable fact that they were well-loved and cherished by the bulk of the UK record buying public.

Timbaland Feat. T-Pain - Talk (New song)
07/09/2008 : Timbaland Ft. C'est mon but. Bien sûr, je fais ma partie, je présente des gens. Ça me laisse le temps de faire une tournée mondiale. Les gens me réclament. Je fais un show».
