07/11/2008 : Brigitte Dajczer (violin) nous parle de Jeff Kavanda. La violoniste Brigitte Dajczer a fait la tourné du Québec avec Jeff Kavanda. Elle nous parle de sa carière, et aussi de la tourné 2008 de Jeff Kavanda. RoGeR Marchand de La RPV était là pour vous. Born in Montreal, and raised in Calgary, AB (Western Canada) before she moved back to Montreal, Brigitte Dajczer is the daughter of a Polish immigrant and a Quebecoise mother. A Classically trained violinist through the Toronto Royal Concervatory of Music, Brigitte discovered the art of improvisation by playing blues bars at the age of 15. Thus began her long time musical journey through popular and folkloric forms of music of many different cultures. Brigitte acknowledges that Eastern European music is a large influence in her work. As well as being a composer and arranger, she plays the Greek blues with "The Rembetika Hipsters", is a member of the Balkan Gypsy sensation "Les Gitans de Sarajevo", works with many canadian singer songwriters (Geoff Berner, Amanda Mabro, Kris Demeanor), and continues to play with Montreal's Maghreban and West African community of musicians. Brigitte has shared the stage with kindred souls like Michel Donato (Oscar Peterson) and Alain Bergé (Youssou N'Dour, Yann Perault). RoGeR Marchand de La RPV était là pour vous.

29/10/2008 : Ces trois là se connaissent par c?ur et ne cessent pourtant de se surprendre encore. Un trio parfaitement rodé, un bonheur comme on en entend trop peu. Pour référence, Bobby Durham fut le batteur des plus grands, d?Ella Fitzgerald à Oscar Peterson, Pierre Boussaguet, le bassiste de Diana Krall et de Ray Brown, Niels Lan Doky, le pianiste de Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen et de John Scofield.
